GM gives a sneak peek of new Caddy
Scott Burgess / The Detroit News
Hoping to keep auto show buzz churning through the holidays, General Motors Corp. on Tuesday released the first photo of its second-generation Cadillac CTS, which debuts next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The 2008 version of the performance luxury sedan will have a much more aggressive-looking face than the current CTS, incorporate a larger, more open grille and sport taller head lamps.
The CTS has been a strong seller since its debut in 2002, topping 62,000 units last year to make it the No. 1 Caddy, according to Autodata.
Sales are off 7.3 percent this year, but the CTS remains a strong contender among entry-level luxury cars.
Production of the 2008 model begins next summer and the car should hit showrooms in the fall.
